We welcome proposals for presentations, posters and workshops based on the theme of the conference

The International Cognitive Analytic Therapy Association (ICATA) in association with the Finnish Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy (FINCAT) are pleased to issue a Call for Contributions for the 9th international CAT conference which will be held in Helsinki, Finland.

We would welcome submissions which recognise and celebrate what CAT has achieved with individuals and within systems. We would also welcome contributions which explore, celebrate and critique what the CAT model and its theoretical foundations have to offer in the current climate.

The organising committee is very grateful to colleagues who wish to submit a presentation, poster or workshop for consideration.

All contributions will normally be in English. Those whose first language is not English are welcome to bring a collegue to translate and will be given extra time. Once submitted, your contribution will be reviewed by the organising committee.  All submissions will need to be approved by the committee before being accepted for the conference programme.  

Those who wish to discuss their ideas prior to submission are welcome to contact the ICATA conference committee by emailing icata2023@arcada.fi. 

Once submitted your paper, poster or workshop will be reviewed by the organising committee.  All submissions will need to be approved by the committee before being accepted for the conference programme.   

You will be notified when/if your paper has been accepted to the conference.

  3. Go to the registration below, attach your saved Contribution on page 2, where it says Drop file
  4. Complete the registration
