Link to virtual event platform 

All participants to 3-day EAOO conference (excluding thos who have participated one-day live ticket) will receive an email with a link to join the EAOO Helsinki 2024 -conference virtual event platform. 

The email with personalized link is sent on Wednesday 8th of May to the same email address, which has been used for each participants registration.

The program starts on Friday 10th of MAy at 14 Helsinki time, but it is recommended that you tune in a little earlier. The virtual platform is showing program from both MAIN PLENARY ROOM and PRALLEL ROOM at the same time. You can watch the program up to two weeks after the conference.

On virtual platform all participants have a possibility to use the chat for questions. The questions will be dealt with at the end of the lecture, within the limits of the timetable.

 

Event Staff

The local organiser of the event is the Finnish Association of Vision and Eyecare, Näe ry. The Association represents optometrists, ophthalmologists and ophthalmic laboratories, manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, and personal and educational organisations serving the industry in Finland. The NÄE Staff will be present at the venue througout the conference and you can contact us for all practical matters. 

In addition conference is assisted by students from Metropolia. They work in the reception, scan participants into lecture halls and run the microphone during Q&A sessions.


Navigating in Scandic Marina Congress Center

The whole EAOO conference, except for the workshops at Metropolia, will take place at the Scandic Marina Congress Center, where navigation is very easy. Everything is close by and signposts will help you to easily find the different venues.
