This is a very practical lecture that will take you through the eye exam on a child, from beginning to end. We will discuss the right choice of tests to include for both sensory and motor testing, and how to communicate throughout the examination. We also talk about development and expected values, treatment and tips for further updating your prescribing skills.

Associate Professor Gro Horgen Vikesdal works as a researcher and teacher at the University of South-Eastern Norway. Her main research interest is visual development and the importance of vision in learning.
